We find out later that Kronika is a “Titan”, and there are others like her. Raiden is here with them as well, and they shape the New Era in their vision. This will result in the best ending of the Story Mode, in which he is able to reconnect with Kitana. If he wins both times, he will have prevented time being rewinded back to the ‘ Dawn of Time‘. If Liu Kang was able to win his fight against Kronika during the initial Jungle arena, he’ll have to fight her once more there. Regular normal Raiden is here, and will help him usher in the New Era as long as his mortality allows. But if he were to win here, then he becomes the new Keeper of Time.

The environment will change to being on a rock in Outer Space. If FGLK loses, then Kronika will use the Hourglass once again, and reverts time to the very beginning. This will be the first battle with Kronika, in which Liu Kang’s goal is to prevent Kronika from using the Hourglass again. Kronika rewinded time so that the Realms once known, no longer existed. The battle with Kronika begins at a lush jungle-type environment. After fighting a few Revenant cronies, FGLK and Kronika square off. Kronika begins the process of rewinding time which reverses the heroes’ invasion. The entire group arrives on Kronika’s doorstep. Mortal Kombat 11 Story Ending – Possibilities Lord Raiden does the unthinkable and merges with the Revenant Liu Kang, resulting in the Fire God Liu Kang (FGLK). Lord Raiden and Revenant Liu Kang eventually fight, but even with all of demon Liu Kang’s power, Raiden still prevails. Revenant Liu Kang had just absorbed the life force from the real Liu Kang, increasing his power level. Kronika senses that they are arriving, and sends the Revenant Liu Kang to stop them. The entire group decide to storm after Kronika’s Keep. She kidnaps Liu Kang, and returns to her base to begin rewinding time again, to start the process over. Now that Raiden knows what is going on, he cannot be manipulated by Kronika anymore - at least in this particular timeline. The different timeline was created by Kronika, who now appears before Raiden. Raiden realizes the power that Shinnok’s Amulet had over him, and this sets him straight. They end up fighting, and afterwards Raiden is enlightened by flashbacks of his fight with Liu Kang in different timelines.
Somewhere mid-way through the story, Liu Kang and Raiden have a disagreement on trust issues. Mortal Kombat 11 Story Ending – The Build Up Her plan is to stop Raiden from ever interfering with the balance of the Realms, and rewrite history as she wishes. This act summons Kronika, who we learn has the ability to control and manipulate time itself. Mortal Kombat 11 begins it’s Story Mode with a scene of Lord Raiden and Shinnok together. He vowed it protect Earthrealm by any means necessary - even if it goes beyond what he would previously consider morally acceptable. Lord Raiden became corrupted due to Shinnok’s Amulet. Following the events of the previous game, Shinnok was defeated at the hands of Cassie Cage.
